Dr. Erica Viator Lukasko was born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana. She graduated from Catholic High School and received her Bachelor's of Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her externship studies at various sites throughout the Chicago land area and at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Optometric Association of Louisiana, the Cornea and Contact Lens Society, the AOA’s InfantSee Program and the Optometric Acadiana Society. She is also a member of the Lafayette Lions Club, a service organization dedicated to eye care, and has organized and performed numerous Cubsight vision screenings for children across Acadiana for early detection for amblyopia and significant vision problems found in young children.
Dr. Erica V. Lukasko is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, demonstrating her commitment to education and excellence in comprehensive eye care. She is also Board Certified in Ophthalmic Surgery Procedures approved by the Louisiana state Board of Optometry Examiners.
Dr. Lukasko provides full scope optometric eye care dedicated to providing the highest quality vision to our children and adults in a friendly, comfortable and professional atmosphere. She is able to the meet the visual needs of the entire family.
Dr. Lukasko lives in Lafayette with her husband, Bill and their two children, Alaina and Will.
